How many times have you
caught yourself saying- when will my breakthrough come? When will my story
change? God, when will you answer my prayers?
Sometimes it may seem as
though we will never achieve certain goals and dreams. Sometimes the pressures
of life may tempt us to consider giving up on ourselves, God and our dreams.
Obstacles will always come, there will always be bumps on the road to success,
and the journey to greatness has never been hitch-free.
Any successful person
knows that giving up is never an option, and also that adversity is an
inevitable ingredient of success.
“...Everything good comes with struggle.
Abundance grows out of adversity and struggle.” – Nido Qubein
The ongoing economic
recession in Nigeria has sucked hope and faith out of many people... Today, the
continuous hike in price has turned daily necessities into luxuries for an
average person. A disturbing number of people are struggling to stay afloat.
People are losing it…
Now hear this, though
the turbulence in our great country has lasted more than we expected, it will
definitely come to an end soon. While we think, plan and roll our sleeves to
pull out our sinking economy, we all need to reignite our faith and here is an
inspirational poem to help encourage and inspire you to be steadfast and stay
strong until the economy stabilizes.

Don't Quit
When Things go wrong, as
they sometimes will,
When the road you're
trudging seems all uphill,
When the funds are low
and debts are high,
And you want to Smile
but have to sigh.
When care is pressing
you down a bit,
Rest, if you must, but
don't you quit.
Life is queer with
its twists and turns,
As everyone of us
sometimes learns,
And many a failure turns
about,
When he might have won
if he'd stuck it out;
Don't give up though the
pace seems slow,
You might succeed with
another blow.
Often the struggler
has given up,
When he might captured
the victor's cup.
And he learned too late,
when the night slipped down,
How close he was to the
golden crown.
The silver tint of
clouds of doubt,
And you never can tell how
close you are,
It may be near when it
seems afar;
So stick to the fight
when you're hardest hit --
It's when things seem
worst that you mustn't quit.
